Orange County Anaheim Auto Show

The Anaheim Convention Center will be hosting one of my favorite car shows on September 22 to the 25. For those who have not been to the Orange County Auto Show it is a must. The OC Auto Show pulls into Southern California packing the Anaheim Convention Center.  While the crowds are big it does not have as many exhibits when compared to the Los Angeles Car Show, or the New York auto show, but there are benefits that the OC show offers.

Anaheim car showThe Orange County auto show has all the major players with half the traffic. Orange County is a hotspot for automobile manufacturers and car enthusiast. Ford’s marketing and design studio is in Irvine, Toyota has a design studio in in Newport Beach, Kia in Lake Forest, Hyundai in Fountain Valley, Suzuki in Brea, and Mitsubishi in Cypress. All of which are in Orange County, California.  So it just makes sense that they all have a strong presence at the show.

From Mazda to Maserati, attendees are usually welcome to check out their favorites. The best part is that it is in a non-selling environment.  There are opportunities to sit behind the wheel of a new car, inspect engines, experience new technologies, and figure out if it’s a car you can’t live without.

One of the exhibits I am excited to see this year is the Camp Jeep off road course. I have been told that many years back Jeep has allowed attendees to drive a Jeep on an indoor off-road course. I am not sure if that is still the case now.  There has also been a closed course that people can test drive cars for brands such as Chevrolet, Buick, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota and Volkswagen in the past as well.
